Hi, I’m Olivia (Olive).

I’m an Intuitive Animal Communicator, Companion Animal Death Doula, and am the founder of Pawsitivity Pet Spa.

“I listen to and speak for the Animals”

21 years working with pets

I started my career in the animal industry as a pet groomer in 2005. I quickly came to believe there had to be a better way than the “necessary evil” standard of care in the pet grooming industry.

I founded Pawsitivity Pet Spa in West Asheville in 2014, with the firm belief that comfort could come first. My emphasis of listening to the dogs and respecting their boundaries as sentient beings with the same intelligence and needs as small children informed every step of growth for Pawsitivity.

Over the years I was certified as a Fear Free Certified Stylist, a certified L.E.G.S. Family Dog Mediator, and finally as a certified Companion Animal Death Doula in 2025. I stepped down from grooming full time in 2022 after the birth of my son, and focused on the creation of systems and continuing education of my staff to maintain Pawsitivity’s mission and quality care.

In 2026 I retired from the grooming table, focusing full time on Intuitive Animal Communication, Companion Animal Death Doula support, and marketing, staff training and community connection for Pawsitivity Pet Spa.

Intuitive Animal Communicator

As an Intuitive Pet Communicator I draw on my extensive training and experience with pet body language and behavior, combined with my over 25 years intuitive experience.

I use a combination of modalities including Clairvoyance, Tarot and Runes to help facilitate conversations between pets and their owners.

Services

Sacred Space Holder

As a Sacred Space Holder I’m honored to support my animal and human clients in connection, including with pets who have already crossed rainbow bridge.

I’m honored to hold grief space for processing old wounds related to lost pet loved ones, and to assist with memorial alters and rituals that help my human clients have spaces to heal in. This can look like a memorial service, alter or grief garden planning, or talisman objects of remembrance.

Companion Animal Death Doula

As a Certified Companion Animal Death Doula, I hold compassionate support for both the pet and their owner to ease anticipatory grief and facilitate peaceful and meaningful time together. I provide loving support and guidance through end of life planning, including assisting the pet parent with identifying quality of life markers.

I provide animal communication sessions if desired to assist in collaborative end of life planning. I honor death as an important life passage and respect the pet and the pet parents choices and feelings about quality of life decisions. It is a great honor to assist in celebration of life services, provide emotional support for both the owner and pet for scheduled euthanasia, and support the pet parent in planning memorial services, alters, gardens and talismans.
